About the project
The nationwide programme strengthens road safety education through trainers drawn from institutions, transport unions and community organisations.
A locally relevant curriculum and toolkit support training delivery in county hubs, with assessment, monitoring and national reporting to the Ministry of Transport.
Scope of work
- Develop and adapt the curriculum and training toolkit.
- Train and certify trainers to deliver learning in their counties.
- Deliver road safety training for commercial passenger and goods drivers.
- Monitor knowledge, county-level delivery and training outcomes.

Documented outputs and progress
- The August 2026 company profile reports 300 certified Trainers-of-Trainers.
- The same profile reports more than 5,000 commercial drivers trained and certified.
- The programme establishes a county-based delivery network for continued road safety education.
